DUO APP INSTALL HOW TO
The application will still run and allow Penn Staters to complete the 2FA process however, users may experience a slower authentication process than those with an updated OS. This article will explain on how to install this on a smartphone and how to connect. In addition, as of April 1, those using the mobile application on older OS will no longer receive technical support from Duo Security.
DUO APP INSTALL UPDATE
Starting on Friday, June 1, mobile devices running older operating systems (OS) such as iOS 9 or Android 5 will not be able to install Duo Mobile, the application used for Penn State’s two-factor authentication (2FA). Application stores for mobile devices and smartphones, including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, will update the minimum OS requirements on June 1.
